I Hope

I hope you never hear a song that makes your heartache
I hope you never question all the decisions that you make
I hope you never agonize about why you weren’t enough
I hope you never feel the pain of knowing and then losing love
That’s just something I never want you to have to go through
Those are all the things that I had to indore over losing you
It hurt so bad I’d never want anyone to feel that pain
I hope you never ever get your heart broken and feel this way.
All that I hoped for you it comes from a surreal place
I hope this was all for something worth it someday.

  2. I think we’ve all been here before (a few times, I guess, if we’re ‘lucky’? :))… yes love (even such as here expressed) can cause much pain… yet we must all still keep on loving again. The feeling in your words is always palpable and that’s what makes them so extremely moving. Someone recently commented on my blog something to the effect that we can’t much help where or what or whom we love. “The heart wants what it wants.” In my case that is certainly true. (Which can be very inconvenient at times. Dang it! 😆🙏)

    1. Yes it can be inconvenient, but yes we must be willing to accept the next chapter. You never know where that road is going to take you, you just go along for the ride.
