Love Songs Though My Eyes (oldies)

Through my eyes it’s just like it sounds, a look at artists from my point of view. Everyone has their own opinion, and this is mine.

I guess a few of my last love song posts could be considered oldies since they were 20 plus years old. But these are the songs I grew up with and liked before I even knew what love was. Back when I’d sing along to feelings and words that I hadn’t felt yet. Or haven’t known the true meaning of, all I knew is I liked them. Nothing more then liking the sound and feel of songs, I’d soon realize what they meant. So here are a few of my favorites of all and back some time ago. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

The Temptations, one of my all-time favorite groups. I just loved the way they harmonized and complimented each others voices. This is one of my all time favorites by them.

Smokey Robinson, the writer that had so many hits for other Motown acts and him self with or with out the Miracles. This is an all time classic.

Frankie Valley wasn’t even in my parents era. But still I and other were and are drawn in to the music. Different era, different generations yet still appreciate the sound.

Grease is one of my favorite movies and Olivia Newton Johns song blew me away as a child and still does. I’m hopelessly devoted to this song. Love the lyrics, the vocals just the pure simplistity of it.

The Beatles were a big influence due to my Dad liking and listening to them so much. I liked the love songs as my Dad liked the deep songs. So I was more McCartney and he was more Lennon.

Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers I liked because they were kids like the Jacksons even though they were not around the same time I didn’t know I was a kid.

Elton John and Kiki Dee this song is catchy loving and so uplifting. It makes you want to find love

Marvin and Tammi what can you say about them two and the many love songs they did together. A mountain of them if you ask me.

ways and forever was written by a man named Rod Temperton. Rod wrote a lot of amazing songs. I knew of Rod because he wrote songs for Michael Jackson. Rod even wrote Vincent Price’s Rap part in Thriller.

There were a few girl groups, the Supremes, the Crystals. But the Ronetts featuring Veronica together they had a great sound as all of them did too.

Thank you for visiting my page, I really do appreciate you so very much. Hope you enjoyed these songs, and let me know some of your favorite love songs from the past.
